Unscrew the wooden top, remove the stopper, put wooden top back on, shake until you can see the fragrance soaking the wood, remember to put the stopper back in - When you can no longer smell the aroma, repeat process :) 

These can last 3-6 months depending on how strong you like the fragrance!
